Even with a big win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night, the Boston Bruins lost a key asset to an undisclosed injury per Claude Julien.

As you can tell, Ryan Spooner played little to no minutes in the final period of action. According to thescore.com, Ryan Spooner played 9:32 on the ice. Here is Spooner’s stats in his last five games. An obvious decrease in minutes from the previous 4 games, to tonight’s game.

Ryan has 13-34-47 totals in 75 games this season. The 24 year old is a -7 rating in those games as well. There is no update on where or when Spooner was originally injured, but it is not good news.

Forward Brett Connolly was scratched for the game tonight, meaning he will most likely replace Ryan if the injury is serious enough.

The Bruins next game is against the New Jersey Devils in New Jersey followed the Blues and Blackhawks on the road.
