The Boston Bruins have announced that they have called up goaltender Malcolm Subban to the National Hockey League, on emergency basis.
According to Joe Haggerty, starting goalie Tuukka Rask is still out due to “general soreness”, and now Anton Khudobin has left practice early. Not good news for the Bruins as the goaltending is a key part to their team, as it is for any team.
This news comes after a 4-2 loss against the Canadiens, and an upcoming game against the Minnesota Wild in Boston.
Subban has played 4 games with the Providence Bruins this season, having a winless record of 0-3-1. Hopefully Malcolm can turn it around come Tuesday against the Wild.
